What is IMPS?
IMPS stands for Immediate Payment Service, which is an instant real-time interbank money transfer service available in India. It allows individuals to send and receive money across banks instantly, 24/7, including holidays. IMPS is provided by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) and enables secure, fast, and convenient payments via mobile phones, ATMs, or online banking.
Manipur Rural Bank customers can also avail the IMPS facility over the MRB M-banking App.
Daily Limit for IMPS transaction is Rs. 5,00,000/- per day.
